Meditation series covers
Building connection through a consistent and ongoing presence

Context
A constant, supportive presence can feel like a reassuring companion.
Each of Silatha’s meditation series are introduced with a consistent cover that is cohesive across the app. However, some are missing a preface.
There is an opportunity here to deepen the connection with users through a reliably present conversation. Each cover is a moment to remind the user of the value they gain by using the app as a tool for mindfulness and self-discovery.
Goal
Extend the welcoming, steady presence of the organization by:
- Simplifying each message to highlight an inspiring action action for the theme
- Filling in any missing introductions
Results
Through this, users will:
- quickly identify the value of each series and be eager to return
- spend less time wandering unguided and more time meditating
- be reminded of the value of the series each time they return
This means Silatha may:
- see an uptick in return users
- use this data to pitch the value of the product to prospective new company partners
Implementation
Take inventory
I assessed the meditation content to understand what opportunities there are to nurture the conversation. I considered the gaps and the assets that would help fill them.
Walk alongside the users
The themes of the series gave me a glimpse at who the users might be. I compiled user personas to capture the complexity and nuance of their journeys.
These personas were inspired by the series that did not yet have a descriptive overview.
Find the company’s voice
By “listening” to the existing messages on other series covers and considering how they were conveyed, I developed a content strategy guide.
Inspire action through value
Each message is an invitation and tells the user what they will gain from the sessions in each series.
